Hello,

I hope you had a delightful Thanksgiving and are enjoying the holiday season!

This has been a great year for me. I had the privilege of painting champion Jason Day, who has been one of my favorite golfers for a decade. I am always happy with the winner of THE PLAYERS Golf tournament, but Jason's win was special to me. I love his story.

It was also wonderful to get more involved wıth dog portraiture. As I deepen my understanding of dogs’ structure and expression, I feel even greater awe and gratitude for our canine brothers and sisters.

Hello,

I hope you are enjoying a beautiful spring and that your canine companions appreciate warm days in the sun. It’s a time for longer walks. On a crisp spring day recently, my dog Lucy and I, walking a well-traversed bike path in Connecticut, came across a bear lumbering out of the Farmington River. The bear walked towards us before gratefully turning away. Wow! We humbly share turf with other drifters wandering our landscapes.

It has been a busy six months for me since the November 2015 National Dog Show, where I signed the show's official poster.

Hello

I welcome you to my newsletter! It has been a busy year and I am a long while in pulling the news together. I wish you a magnificent autumn at the steady, controlled and mellow end of the leash (of a happy dog).

I am delighted to be the official artist of the National Dog Show! Wow! The whole experience, working with the Carson International people, has been wonderful. The official poster will be unveiled at the 2015 show on Saturday, November 14th. In the meanwhile, as an artist who felt super-inspired by the epic 2014 National Dog Show, I decided to paint a graphic-novel style piece depicting the show from the furry and feathered point of view of an esteemed dog...

Hello,

Happy Holidays to you! I hope your season is filled with tranquility amid the flurry.

It was a joy once again to do the art for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. I will be at the New York City show, February 16-17, 2015, dedicating and signing posters of my art. Please come see me! We have a lot of fun as dog lovers share their stories.

Last year's Best of Show was a magnificent Wire Fox Terrier named "Afterall Painting the Sky" (a.k.a. "Sky"). In honor of the esteemed Sky, I named my 2015 painting, which features her, "I'll Paint the Sky." Sky is at the center, on the Madison Square Garden floor, while her fellow champions grace the sky above.

Hello,

I wish you summer greetings! I had a feeling that these missives might turn into a tri-annual affair. These months, I have been busy on many projects – all fodder for the next newsletter. Life is so forward moving that everything in the past feels like a mere runway for what one is painting today. I hope you enjoy the recent runway of this studio!

This July, I finished a portrait of a client who sat for me with her dog, now sixteen years old and a companion since puppyhood. On a perfect afternoon, we drove to the dog's favorite field near Charlottesville, Virginia for our photo session.

Hello,

I am excited to be sending my first newsletter! Thank you very much for signing up. A lot has happened in these last months, so I’d like to dive right into a few updates about the Westminster Dog Show, the Art Show at the Dog Show, my portrait of THE PLAYERS champion Tiger Woods, and my Chris Duke Art Store hosted by Amazon.

I had a terrific time at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in February. It was a great honor to be on the Madison Square Garden floor for the presentation of the profits from...
